We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the responsive repairs and empty homes service. You’ll be responsible for managing the team of five Service Managers overseeing all trades and sub-contractors to deliver responsive repairs and empty homes repairs to 11,500 properties across the Stockport Borough and surrounding areas.
Delivering the Three Sixty property maintenance activities for Stockport Homes Ltd, you’ll ensure all works are carried out safely in line with all regulatory requirements and that they are delivered in accordance with company and group objectives. The role will be responsible for the efficient delivery of all works for our customers whilst delivering all services in line with current health and safety regulations.
With proven up to date experience and knowledge of the building maintenance industry both in the public and private sector, you’ll have an excellent understanding of Health & Safety in both Social Housing and the general construction refurbishment industry. Further to this you will have previously successfully managing a large operational team and have experience of managing several workstreams to high standards whilst understanding budget & quality implications. A current SMSTS Qualification is also required.
